Kew in the cold- Good Friday 2008

Today we went to show Kew to our Welsh friends, the forecast was wrong in that we had sunny skies, but they got the bitter cold temperatures right.

I love these decrepid looking bullrushes!

The magnolias were out in force obviously ignoring the weather forcast that was promising snow

You know how much I like cactii, not only are they fun to photograph, they also don't die on me during the first week of my ownership.... best of all though they are in a nice warm greenhouse at Kew!!
