I was very excited to see this kestrel hovering above us at teh Wetlands today.... you would think that even I could take a picture of a hovering bird... but not quite.. my excuse is that it was quite high up, the second shot is the Kestrel starting to drop on his prey. He sort of jumped on 'it' kicked around a bit and then flew off sharpish. I don't think he was successful though. Thanks to Margaret for identifying the bird for me.
Hmmm, I still seem to take lots of photographs of duck's bottoms.. this is the best of the duck's bottoms.. and is not, let me reeat that NOT cropped at all!
