.. . . but first of all this heron demanded attention. I am so disappointed that I could not get him pin-sharp.. but time was limited and I had to snap fast. The colour of the grass, with the slight low-level mist was magical.. as was the tree stump his majesty was posing on!!
It's a beautiful park at any time of the year, but autumn is wondrous!! Plus I wondered why I had not had the sense to bring a bike.. it was a long walk.. and my feet were wet!
but the deer were in their favourite spot just beyond sheen gate. . . . Bambi darted past first . . .
and then I got watching this stag.. he was a randy old bugger, trying it on with all the girls and using his muscles if any of the boys dared wander anywhere near!

and just as I got back to the car, I spotted Narcissus here! Mirror mirror on the wall (wall??) and all that.. and eating pond weed too I guess!! Lets hope for more sun, I have such good ideas for a photo on Saturday!!
