After the excitement last weekend of the Tour De France it was back to reality this weekend. We had an appointment in town at 1:30 to buy Jamie's school uniform so decided to head out early to the Zoo. We got there at opening time and had a happy couple of hours being outnumbered by the animals, which made a nice change. Gorilla Island is the newest attraction at London Zoo, so I headed there first. . . . . . . . 
This was the male silverback who was snoozing inside. Although it looks like his fist it is actually a close up of his foot!
