London Zoo March 2009

After spending hours watching the herons, there wasn't too much time to take the actual zoo inhabitants.. however as always I love the ant colony.....

there are male and female tigers at the zoo at the moment, so maybe I can photograph tigers one day soon!!I can't get that b****y advert out of my head looking at this..' comare the meerkat.com' aaargghh
and it seemed very cruel to have the tree just out of reach of a very hungry giraffe.. I am sure there is an eric carle book in there somewhere

Another day at the Wetlands, and another day of abysmal photography.. How can one person totally lose their touch so quickly??? My favourite is the black swan, I think his feathers are awesome.. but apologies for the rest

My little friend

This little chap came to play in my apple tree and was happy to pose for a few minutes as I snapped away... Still can't focus and imagination seems in short supply, but thanks Mr Robin, for giving me at least one shot to play with today!

Dem bones, dem bones, dem bones

In honour of poor Auntie Jen visiting a chiropractor for her very sore back I went to photograh some bones today... The Natural History Museum is just about my earliest London memory.. I remember this diplodocus (??) very fondly from my youth
